Artificial Double Tracking (ADT) is a method developed at Abbey Road Studios in the 1960s for usage on The Beatles’ recordings. The Waves Reel ADT does an excellent job of reproducing the trademark saturation that made the Abbey Roads unit so popular in the first place. When utilizing modest home recording settings, the plugin delivers vocals a rich analogue texture that might be missed. Specific settings can be tweaked to provide luscious wow and flutters to a user’s voice chain. On airy voices of music without lyrics or when utilized gently on background vocals and doubles, these sorts of modulations sound amazing.
